An international exchange

Thanks to the ERASMUS + program, IFAPME learners and trainers in the 2nd year of painting and decoration were able to perfect their skills on training sites throughout Europe. They visited France and Italy and will soon welcome their counterparts in Belgium! These exchanges were carried out as part of the project PAINTERS-EURO-QUALIF : “Painters are restoring their know-how”.

Working collaboratively with learners from other cultures and other countries is a particularly enriching experience, both professionally and humanly. Through this initiative and these field experiences, the common desire is to create a European vision of heritage restoration.

Exceptional places

The project is structured around 3 international training sites, bringing together the skills used for heritage professions:

School site at Château de la Touche, Drôme provençale (France)
School site at Palazzo Piccolomini, Siena (Italy)
School site at Heritage Trades Center “La Paix-Dieu”, Amay (Belgium)
