EUROPEAN DAYS OF CRAFTS

The 17th edition of JEMA will be held from March 27 to April 2, 2023, around the theme "Sublimating everyday life", and will offer more than 7,000 events for all audiences. Each year, the European Days of Crafts (JEMA) mark the beginning of spring with a week of festivities dedicated to crafts and living heritage, throughout France and Europe. For the second time, a French region and a European country will be honoured: New Aquitaine and Spain.

Coordinated by the National Institute of Crafts (INMA), the JEMA highlight 281 professions divided into 16 areas, at the crossroads of culture, economy, heritage and creation. The organization of events, and open doors for workshops, Living Heritage Companies (EPV), training establishments, museums and monuments, Exceptional Meetings behind the scenes of prestigious sites will allow everyone to discover precious know-how, to exchange around crafts and realize how much they magnify our daily lives. All audiences – amateurs, families, young people, people with disabilities – will be invited to meet crafts professionals.
