Sustainable heritage will be explored at this year's European Heritage Days events

In 2022, European Heritage Days will celebrate sustainable heritage. The common theme in the context of environmental change, Europe's diverse cultural heritage and the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, will relate to both people and places; the continuity and lessons learned from traditions, the steps organizers and visitors can take to be more environmentally friendly, and how built and natural heritage also contribute to a more sustainable future.

Sustainable Heritage looks to the future of our shared cultural heritage by discussing the responsible decisions and choices we can all make today.
